The Chinese rice field hats and the sunglasses made me think of 1930's spies in Hong Kong - or maybe that was a fashion story I saw with Marie Helvin in English Vogue. The show was full of lovely details as usual, even if the girls walked at such a speed that you just spotted them. I think this determined walk works well with the whimsical nature of Tsumori Chisato and her designs, as it gives weight to the show. Little embroidered, and beaded vignettes swept past us like a child's kaleidoscope. This flurry of activity leaves you with impression of moving images and a wonderful mix of colours. Then a strong detail returns to mind, like the sunglasses, the hair or the shoes. The show is always over too quickly for me, but all the best things are. Imagine a two week Christmas!
